ABOUT ME

Bringing ideas into reality

Hello! I’m Reece Burns, I study how temporal experience normalises existential and anthropogenic harm – particularly how we “live through” environmental violence and systemic harm across different scales of time. This phenomenological focus led me, in a rather strange way, to Web 3.0 and the metaverse, where I now investigate virtual worlds as applied criminological research and world-building practices. Let’s collaborate to explore and build virtual worlds!
